As a cooperative system SAFEmine™ is designed to minimize nuisance warnings even in high traffic densities with unsteady, highly dynamic trajectories creating complex and dynamic traffic constellations. With over 14,000 units installed in aircrafts  and mining vehicles this technology has become a worldwide leader in the field traffic awareness and collision warning systems.

Based on the demand for additional safety in open pit mines, the company SAFEmine was funded and the original technology and aviation products were ruggedized and customized to fit the specific requirements of the mining industry. There are now several mines worldwide using or installing SAFEmine devices.
